From June 26th to June 30th, immerse yourself in a series of engaging sessions, forge new friendships, and embark on your academic journey with us. Day 1: Monday, June 26th Kick-start your week with registration starting promptly at 9:00 AM. Get acquainted with our campus and fellow peers as you settle in and collect essential information to ensure a smooth start to your university life. Day 2: Tuesday, June 27th Join us for an insightful session on student policies presented by Dr. Aida Mehrad and Fernando Lopez, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Gain a comprehensive understanding of our guidelines to maximize your university experience. Day 3: Wednesday, June 28th Dive into the fascinating world of AI with Prof. Mani Tahriri, exploring cutting-edge technologies and applications from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Following this, indulge in a captivating city tour by boat, departing at 11:30 AM and returning by 1:30 PM, followed by a delightful lunch. Day 4: Thursday, June 29th Start your day with a hearty breakfast at 9:30 AM, followed by more registration activities to ensure you're fully prepared for the semester ahead. At 11:00 AM, join Pretam Pandey for an informative session on internships, and discover valuable opportunities to enhance your professional skills. Dolores and Senida will also be available from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM to assist with accommodation and student support services. Day 5: Friday, June 30th Wrap up Welcome Week with final registration from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed. This marks the conclusion of our exciting week together, setting the stage for a memorable academic journey ahead. Dr. Mehrad, an esteemed academic and researcher, holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Health/Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Social Psychology. With over 14 years of international teaching experience, she specializes in Leadership, Business Management, and Strategic Marketing. An accomplished author, she has published extensively in scientific journals and presented at international conferences.

Fernando Lopez Oggier

Fernando Lopez Oggier is a UCLA graduate with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Geography. He has live, studied, and worked in 3 countries in 6 different cities. His research interests lie in Migration, Borders, Sustainability, and Human Rights Advocacy.

Prof. Mani Tahriri

Mani, with dual Master's in Computer Science and Software Development and a Bachelor's in Media Studies, excels in teaching IT subjects. Passionate about education and knowledge sharing, he makes significant contributions to computer science and personal development, impacting both academic and professional spheres.
